Nominated for 'Live Act Of The Year' at the Scots Trad Music Awards and the Scottish Alternative Music Awards in 2023. An Dannsa Dub (from the Gaelic for “The Dub Dance”) is the brainchild of dub vocalist & producer Tom Spirals and Scottish traditional musician Euan McLaughlin. The project fuses the mystical energy and instruments of traditional Scottish music and Gaelic song with the heavy, meditative, driving basslines of digital dub music.
Ranagri is an award winning folk band from Ireland and England, creating a sound that is both mesmerising and unforgettable, with a unique blend of instruments including voices, guitar, bouzouki, flutes, whistles, harp/electric harp and bodhrán/drums.
Joshua Burnell makes retro pop-rock for the modern world. His latest album, 'Glass Knight' - which according to the Financial Times, "plays like a lost out-take from Spiders-From-Mars-era Bowie" - won over a lot of new fans upon its release in 2023. Expect hooky melodies drenched in warm, retro-synth textures, reverbing guitars, lush harmonies and words that make you think.
The name Demi Marriner is widely known on the UK music scene and with good reason. Her first two EPs, 'Tracks and Trails' and 'Dandelion', reached numbers 1 and 2 respectively in the iTunes UK Country Album Charts, and Demi’s sparkly boots have graced many a great stage across the UK, Europe and USA. Winner of the Whispering Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award at the 2021 UK Americana Awards.
Cross genre music making has always been at the core of flautist Eliza Marshall’s creative world, with a particular love of the music of Scotland and Africa, Steve Reich and Paul Simon. Weaving layers of rhythms, percussion, electronics, spoken word and guitars – as well as her huge array of flutes, whistles and bansuris. Eliza springs forth solo, from two decades of numerous collaborations, with the support of PRS Women Make Music and Arts Council England.
Along with traditional Irish music roots, many other musical influences are blended into this band fronted by singer-songwriter and musician Andy Connally (Vocals, Flute, Whistles, Guitar, Piano, Bouzouki) Bluegrass, English folk, and modern elements are all thrown into the mix, making the songs and tune sets quite unique. A slightly earlier finish on the Sunday Main Stage means we can play out 2025 with this incredible ceilidh band. Notorious J.I.G is the brainchild of electronica aficionados, trad tune devotees and ceilidh dance cognoscenti. Mixing the hottest breaks from old school and modern hip hop, disco and funk with blistering traditional tunes on fiddle and accordion.
Foreign Affairs is the musical collaboration of brothers Adam and Lawrence Purnell. In December 2018 they released their first EP which received widespread critical acclaim and was followed by a 22 date European tour with Grammy nominated artist Larkin Poe. The duo have released a host of new music which has garnered support and national radio play from BBC Radio 2. Their enigmatic live show has toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, with several appearances at prestigious festivals.

Recent post-graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Traditional Music course, Eleanor Dunsdon & Gregor Black are a Glasgow-based harp and percussion duo. Blending traditional with contemporary, vocals and electronics, they draw on jazz, folk and classical genres to create a sound that challenges perceptions of the harp and pushes the boundaries of the traditional music scene.
